In this painting Carol seeks to convey that Jesus will take care of us.  Carol presents a diverse group of people surrounding the baby in the manger.  If you look closely you will see each person has the hand of God on them.  Carol was inspired by the saying, “If God brings you to it, God will see you through it.”
